NYDDCLLC, a New York Limited Liability Company doing business as Defensive Driver's Discount, together with its affiliates, provides cloud-based learning, and Driver safety training and learning solutions. This NYDDCLLC Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes our general privacy policy and practices in relation to NYDDCLLC’s websites, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
Applicability
This Policy applies to individuals who provide personal data and personal information via visiting NYDDCLLC’s websites (“Visitors”), registering to use the Services (“Customers”), and registering to attend NYDDCLLC’s events (“Attendees”).
Information Collected
Several categories of information are automatically collected from you when you use the Services, as described below.
- Information You Provide. When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, NYDDCLLC requires you to provide personal data, such as name, address, phone number, and email address (“Required Contact Information”). Required Contact Information and Billing Information are referred to collectively as “Data About Customers” in the case of Customers, “Data About Visitors” in the case of Visitors, and “Data About Attendees” in the case of Attendees. Pursuant to this Policy, “Data About Customers”, “Data About Visitors”, and “Data About Attendees” may include personal data.

NYDDCLLC may automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices that are used to access the Services, including mobile devices, through commonly used information-gathering tools, such as cookies and web beacons (“Website Navigational Information”). NYDDCLLC uses Website Navigational Information to operate and improve NYDDCLLC’s websites, to protect NYDDCLLC and third parties, for security, and to prevent fraud and violation of NYDDCLLC’s applicable agreements. NYDDCLLC may also use Website Navigational Information alone or in combination with Data About Customers and Data About Visitors to provide personalized information about NYDDCLLC.

- Business Transfers: We reserve the right to disclose and transfer all your information, including, without limitation, your Contact Information, Billing Information, or Optional Information, to a successor (or potential successor) company in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all, or components, of our business, or in connection
- Courts and/or other government agencies if compelled to do so or as part of obligatory reporting requirements.
- Online Analytics. We may use third-party web analytics services such as Google Analytics. These service providers use Website Navigational Information to help us analyze how users use the Services, including by noting the third-party website from which you arrive. The information collected by the technology (including your IP address) will be disclosed to or collected directly by these service providers, who use the information to evaluate your use of the Services.
- Security. We have appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access and maintain data security of, and to use correctly, the information we collect online. - Public Forums, Refer a Friend, and Customer Testimonials. NYDDCLLC may provide bulletin boards, blogs, or chat rooms through the Services. Any personal information you choose to submit in such a forum may be read, collected, or used by others who visit these forums, and may be used to send you unsolicited messages. NYDDCLLC is not responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these forums. Customers, Visitors, and Attendees may elect to use NYDDCLLC’s referral program to inform friends about the Services. When using the referral program, NYDDCLLC requests the friend’s name and email address. NYDDCLLC will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit NYDDCLLC’s websites. NYDDCLLC does not store this information. NYDDCLLC posts a list of Customers and testimonials on NYDDCLLC’s websites that contain information such as Customer names and titles. NYDDCLLC obtains the consent of each Customer prior to posting such information or testimonials.
- No Rights of Third Parties. This Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties.

- Changes to This Policy. NYDDCLLC reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time. Please check this page periodically for changes. If we make any material changes to this Policy, we will provide notification of the material changes to this Policy through the NYDDCLLC Web site at least thirty (30) days prior to the change taking effect.

** Upon completion of our course, the New York DMV will reduce up to 4 points in the event that you are facing possible suspension or revocation of your license. Points able to be reduced include those that occurred within 18 months prior to completing our class. Point reduction does not remove, delete, subtract or erase violations, convictions or points. Point reduction does not prevent or cancel a mandatory revocation or suspension of your license for violations such as DWI, DWAI or three speeding violations within 18 months.
