Reduce Points on Your Driving Record and Get a Discount on Your Insurance Premium

PIRP and IPIRP

PIRP, or Point and Insurance Reduction Program, refers to taking this course in an actual classroom. We have a Multitude of Classrooms in New York State, so click on the link to find one near you.

IPIRP specifically refers to our Online Course. You can take it from the comfort of your own home and according to your schedule. Whether you choose to take this in our classrooms, or sign up with our amazing online course, please know that we have taken measures to ensure we meet the strict standards set by the NY Department of Motor Vehicles.

Even if you have a flawless driving record, our course can still be taken in order to save money on your monthly insurance rates. A discount of 10% may be applied to your current Liability and Collision premiums. These savings can be earned by the main operator of a vehicle, and the discounts will remain in effect for 36 months. When you get close to the end of the 3 years, and your savings are about to expire, you can simply take our course again! We even send you a reminder to your email in case you forget. There is no limit on the number of times you can take our IPIRP, so you can essentially enjoy permanent discounts for life.

How it Works

A safe driver will be involved in fewer accidents and understands that driving is a privilege. To this end, we are an approved sponsor by the NY DMV to provide this course, both online and in classrooms.

  1. Take our course either Online or in a Classroom Near You.
  2. Upon completion, we will notify the NY DMV and provide you with the required paperwork that you will take to your insurance company.
  3. Your insurance company may provide you a 10% reduction off of your liability and collision coverage for the next 3 years.
  4. You are also eligible to have up to 4 Points reduced from your driving record.
  5. Take the course every three years to continue receiving these discounts.

* Successful completion of our 320-minute Internet course by the principal operator of the insured vehicle may provides a 3-year, 10% insurance reduction discount off your liability, collision, and no-fault insurance premium.

** Upon completion of our course, the New York DMV will reduce up to 4 points in the event that you are facing possible suspension or revocation of your license. Points able to be reduced include those that occurred within 18 months prior to completing our class. Point reduction does not remove, delete, subtract or erase violations, convictions or points. Point reduction does not prevent or cancel a mandatory revocation or suspension of your license for violations such as DWI, DWAI or three speeding violations within 18 months.
