Insurance Discount
You may receive a 10% reduction on your automobile liability and collision insurance premiums for 3 years. This is a benefit you will receive each time you complete our course. You can retake the course every 3 years and receive a possible 10% discount off your current policy.
When you complete our course, you can expect your official completion certificate via USPS within 14 business days. If you upgraded to priority or overnight shipping, you will get it sooner. It is your responsibility to submit it to your insurance agency to recieve your 10% insurance reduction within 90 days of your course completion. Best of all, the reduction will be retroactive to the date you completed the course!
** If you take longer than 90 days to present your certificate to your insurer, the reduction will be effective from the date you gave them the certificate.
Why is this program in place?
In 2012, New York State was #8 in the nation for highest insurance premiums. Just because you have a great driving record does not mean you are getting the best rate possible. Where you live and where you drive to work are just a few factors that insurance companies take into consideration when quoting you a premium. New York State created this program to provide an incentive for drivers to help make our roads safer. Whether you commute daily or are just out for a Sunday drive, the goal of this program is to make it safer and less expensive for New Yorkers to drive.

* Successful completion of our 320-minute Internet course by the principal operator of the insured vehicle may provides a 3-year, 10% insurance reduction discount off your liability, collision, and no-fault insurance premium.
** Upon completion of our course, the New York DMV will reduce up to 4 points in the event that you are facing possible suspension or revocation of your license. Points able to be reduced include those that occurred within 18 months prior to completing our class. Point reduction does not remove, delete, subtract or erase violations, convictions or points. Point reduction does not prevent or cancel a mandatory revocation or suspension of your license for violations such as DWI, DWAI or three speeding violations within 18 months.
